Stochastic, CCI, RSI, %R (william percentage),ADX. All these that measure overbough/oversold condition or the momentum of a pair are gold if used correctly.
Just my half cent.

Hello all,
I like the topic but think it is useless to put here just indicator without any explanation how to use it or how to exploit it best (example:is indicator good for ranging or trending market;is it good to combine same with specific time frame or watch multi time frame, which pair maybe etc...)
Which trader mentality could indicator be for (scalper, swing trader etc...)
There are many great indicators out there, it is not about indicator but trader itself...The indicator that you use maybe not suit me or without proper explanations i could use it wrong, waste time to exploit what you already find out so would be much better when put indicator to say how use it and what works for you..
In that case we could learn faster, not just watch 1000 different nice coulored indies!
My two cents,
Regards!

I still think this topic is very much required to be discussed because first we need to share with one another what are the indicators that do not repaint. then we can classify perform hit and trial with open mind and discover ways to optimize results. - Aug 23, 2014 9:20amAug 23, 2014 9:20am

Well your indicator is much self explanatory off course...But you could describe how you use it and which way you found out to be good and profitable way...Why 89 signal period is best, not other number...What is base behind indicator, you use it with 2 3 time frames?? and stuff like that...
Think that this kind of explanation would be much more constructive than just put indi....That was my point not only watch green and red lines to enter!
Regards!

you better ignore everything with arrows!!I suggest learn to trade. It takes 3 years just to understand how market and PA works. There is no shortcuts. No arrow is going to teach you trading or make you rich.
Let me share something
I taught many about life drawing. Before you can draw a face or body correctly you must study an anatomy. You might fake it, blur it, exaggerate it ,make it abstract but you know that you don't know human structure what you are trying to draw and will always struggle without this skill..
Same with markets.Indicators are only useful when you gain knowledge and use them appropriately otherwise without knowledge and experience same indicators will send you to poor house. This goes for all indicators irregardless of type.
You are not trading the markets! You are trading yourself

//-----hey iwishtowin...... look up the australian 'allan hull' or the russians 'fxigor' and 'wizard serg' for the pros, cons and uses of the hull moving average.....
//------
forgot those arrows were there..... they have nothing specifically to do with the tsr.....
in the last video above makayla is dragging lines to calculate the pip and $ gain/loss of practice trades.... the arrows here do the same..... drag the arrows in the same manner.... in the upper left comments will be the pips and gain for 1 lot..... if the market is not open, like now, just drag the arrows and then click on the tsr to open it's properties box.... then close that box and the comments values will appear......
i later replaced comments with on screen graphics and the arrows with lines so the lower indicators, if any, can be better referenced..... such as in makayla's video.....h

Hi all nice thread.
May I suggest Trend Manager, works well in trending market. As soon as color change from blue to red you sell, stay short as long as color is red. Opposite for buy. Good example GBPUSD Daily chart, sell signal 14 July.

{quote} Fractals is plotted on the 2nd closed candle ... BUT if the current candle goes above/below this 2nd candle (where the fractals is), the fractals is removed. That's repainting ...
And by going above/below the 2nd candle would it not mean it is no longer a fractal? - Aug 23, 2014 7:49pmAug 23, 2014 7:49pm

In MT4, a definitive fractals is when there's 2 lower/higher closed candles each side of the fractals ... lower (upper fractals) or higher (lower fractals). Some other platforms provide a more flexible fractals where you can choose the number of closed candles forming the definitive fractals peak ... (ie. JForex for Dukascopy).

Yes exactly ... It was a fractals until the price breaks it and makes it disapear ...
